GE’s 7HA and 9HA Gas Turbine Efficiency

The World's Most Efficient Turbines
It's not often that a more powerful machine is also more efficient. But that's exactly what GE has accomplished with our new 7HA and 9HA gas turbines. They lead the industry in output, while using less gas-per-megawatt than any other turbine on the market. That's not only good for our customers. It's also good for theirs.

Put to the Test
GE’s test stand in Greenville, South Carolina, USA is one of a kind. Only here can a gas turbine, like GE's HArriet, be exposed to a variety of environments and challenges to validate her performance.
Recently, Power Engineering visited HArriet at the test stand to see how she did.
New GE Power Tech Will Help Exelon Save Millions of Gallons of Water a day in Drought-stricken Texas
Exelon’s two 1,000 MW power plants, which are under construction, will use the latest GE power generation technology that needs just one tenth of the water amount typically required to cool such large installations.
Where our Power Comes From
A 125-year history rich with innovation and engineering leadership has allowed GE to create and deliver groundbreaking solutions for employees, customers, partners, and communities around the world.
With more experience than any other H-class and F-class gas turbine supplier, GE is continually harvesting knowledge from more than 1,100 installed units to build smarter, more efficient machines.
