GE’s Waukesha mobileFLEX gas engine and generator set portfolio with EPA Mobile Certification. The mobileFLEX portfolio is the latest advancement from GE to deliver lower-cost, lower-emission power to drill rigs, artificial lift enhanced oil recovery and oilfield equipment. An all-gas alternative to diesel units, mobileFLEX is an EPA mobile-certified solution that provides a cost advantage to energy producers and operational advantage to drilling contractors by utilizing field gases.

GE also provides a range of upgrades for the Waukesha products.

For oilfield power applications, the mobileFLEX engine portfolio is a superior power solution for drill rigs, liquids reinjection, lift pumps, and temporary accommodations.

  • Operates on LNG, CNG HD-5 propane and high-BTU field gases with minimal gas treatment

Rating Standard: All models: Ratings conform to ISO 3046/1 (latest version) with a mechanical effi ciency of 90% and auxiliary water temperature, Tcra, as specifi ed in the Power Rating Chart, Bulletin 1079

(latest version) limited to ±10° F (±5.5° C). Ratings are also valid for SAE J1349, BS 5514, DIN 6271 and API 7B-11C standard atmospheric reference conditions.

  • These engines have HD-5 propane as a secondary fuel option: VHP–GL Series, VHP–GSI Series.
  • No overload allowed on all HD-5 propane ratings.
